Introduction

I am investigating the president’s house. I decided to investigate the president’s house because no one else decided to do this. I also chose this because I don’t think the school should be putting money into a house, when they could be cutting tuition. I also don’t know if the president really lives in the house and if he doesn’t then why are they putting money into a house where no one lives in it. I don’t really know anything about this place. I have heard that sometimes the president’s wife will invite students to eat dinner with them but then again I also heard that the president doesn’t even live in the house; this is something I would like to find out. I will explore why the school decides to put so much into the house, when the house looks in good condition already. Does the president really live in the house? If he doesn’t then why do they put so much money into the house? Is there interesting stories that have happened in the house or about the president’s house? My goal for this essay is to answer all my questions I have about the president’s house and come to a conclusion on why they spend so much money on the house.

Think about your audience and the context you have provided here. Which "president's house" are you talking about? Nowhere have you specified that you are talking about the University of Kentucky! Don't you think that's an important distinction?

You are also making statements about putting a lot of money into the house, but those far those are unsubstantiated claims. Before you make those accusations, you need to get some specifics.

Finally, beware of repetition. Thus far you are merely repeating the same questions over and over. You need to expand your inquiry. What ELSE do you want to understand about this place? What is its role on campus? You may not know much about this place yet, but you've got to tell us what your impressions are at the outset, aside from "I know nothing."

I look forward to learning from your research. Go to it.

Also notice that your YouTube content and Current News stories are not related to the president's residence at the University of Kentucky, which is also called "Maxwell Place." You need to rethink your search terms so that your content actually reflects your topic, and if you can't find content that does represent your topic, then don't keep it online.

Whitney, I am also interested in why money is being poured into a house that may be technically "unoccupied". I am eager to read your findings. Good luck.

Hey Whitney, I am also interested in the possibility of unnecessary funds being dumped into a house that may not even be occupied. I believe this campus represents our culture when it comes to excess spending. What amazes me is for there to be so much 'educated leadership', more of our hard earned money is being wasted on bonuses and not being chanelled to real need situations. I look forward to reading more of your research. Good Luck.
